Steal of a Deal!

I just wanted to share with everyone my good fortune today!  I found a box of various stones for $1 at a garage sale.  For size reference, the slice is nearly as large as my hand.  Some things are just meant to be!  More proof that it doesn't have to be costly when you're on the right path.  Who can name all the stones?

  1. Hi, lucky you! There is a store where I live that has all their stones 50% off. Every time I go in determined to get some, I get so overwhelmed. I can't remember wich stone is for what, And end up leaving without any. Could you maybe reccomend a few that everyone should have in there collection. I am so glad I found your blog! I feel you are sincere and trustworthy. I love that you regularly post as well. Thank you ever so much for your time and effort in helping us all.
    hugs to you!

  2. Thank you so much! My first and foremost suggestion is to research correspondence charts. That should give you an idea of what each stone can do for you, thus helping you make a decision for stones that are appropriate to your needs.

Overall, quartz is a great all-purpose stone that most everyone interested in stones has in their possession. Its versatility makes it a great substitute for other stones you may not have. More on that here:

Along with quartz crystal, I would also consider amethyst, carnelian, moonstone, rose quartz and tiger's eye to be a good comprehensive beginner set. Each stone has a multitude of different uses and you might find that they react differently to you. Be sure to carry each stone for a while and record how you feel and what things happen to you.

    1. wow, thank you so much. I will put the info to good use.
      good day to you.

  3. Wow . . . that's great!!! I really like that green stone for it looks like it might be malachite.
