My BOS: Some Updates

Thank you to everyone who participated in my call for questions and topics!  I had quite a few responses, both public and private.  As I make my way through them in the next few months, I will respond to your comments and let you know.  And, if you still have any questions or topics for me, feel free to leave them!  If you add your name and a link to your blog, I will credit you in my post!

Today, I'm touching a topic asked by someone who unfortunately didn't leave their name.  The subject matter?  My Book of Shadows.  Some time ago, I mentioned that I was redoing my BOS.  I am still doing it, though my progress on it has been very, very slow.  I have a few scattered pages here and there completed, though I should technically be much further along for April.  Here's one of my favorite pages and one of my WIP pages.  Enjoy!

I'm particularly in love with this page because I feel like it incorporates all four elements: the paper being earth, fire used to burn the edges, water used to put out the fire and air used to dry it (I actually used a hair dryer).

This is going to be my stones page.  I actually sat down with each of my stones and drew them so that my reference guide to each stone will look just like the stone I have in my care.

  1. You are going to have one amazing, personalized BOS. The artwork is awesome, I love it. Good job. And those are very good goals to have as a witch. Thanks for sharing. Jesyka @ Reprogramming The Mind

  2. I love the idea of having your stones page showing you what your actual stone collection looks like! That would make it so much easier!

  3. Holy geez...you drew those stones?! From the pictures, I would have sworn they were photographs. Your BOS is going to put my ancient spiral notebook to shame. :)
