Tip: Desktop Altar

Excuse the low-quality image here.  This was clearly taken with a potato - I mean my phone.  Still haven't had a chance to get a digital camera.  It's on my list though.  On to the entry.

One of the amazing gifts I've been given in my life is the ability to work from home.  It doesn't change how difficult my work can be.  In fact, my husband is having a glorious snow day today; I still have to work because clearing my car from the foot that dropped isn't necessary to do my job.  It's difficult to find the motivation necessary to work when he's able to game and watch Netflix carefree behind me.

My lack of motivation inspired me to create a small desktop altar to help.  I nabbed a variety of creative, motivating and soothing gemstones, such as carnelian, amethyst and citrine, along with runes that represented what I hoped to feel or accomplish today.  I added candles and incense that enforced both and set them up on my desk.  Hopefully I can find the right frame of mind to illustrate based on this set-up.  I'll definitely be keeping this around for future pushes.
