Looking for Reader Response: A Call for Topics

While I don't consider myself an expert by any means, I love to help and share what I know.  Are there any topics in which you simply can't find enough information or would like to hear my point of view?  Do you have any questions or concerns in regards to any areas of study?  Drop me a comment and I'll see what I can do!  If I use your question or topic, I will credit you, including linking your blog or website if you leave me one.

All the best to you and yours!

  1. Well, I read the information that you gave me for candle magic, and if you could go into that further, that would be awesome... Also cleansing your circle, recharging your stones, and kinda a how to when it comes to writing/making a Book of Shadows... I really over think it... :[

  2. I can't seem to mediate correctly. I either can not clear my head or my eyes get tired. Suggestions?

    1. I will definitely go over this in a future post. As for now, a few solutions:
      (1) Make sure you're meditating in an upright position, good posture without back or head support. It will make you less likely to fall asleep.
      (2) If you still have a strong urge to fall asleep, try keeping your eyes open but lower your gaze. Don't focus on anything visually and your vision will blur out. You'll still get the same effect.
      (3) The "noise" in your head isn't something you should quiet down or ignore. Process what's going on in your mind by observing thoughts as if you'd observe a tree. Eventually, you'll find a quiet space in your mind that exists along with the noise. After some practice, you'll be able to immediately go there instead of listening to the buzz of the day in your head.
      (4) If you continue to have problems finding that quiet place in your mind, try some meditation soundtracks. There are many out there for free and you can stream them on your laptop or phone even. If you can't find anything Pandora has a relaxation station that I find perfect for meditation.

  3. I'm struggling with both as well, but I would love to see more of the tips such as the Bay Leaves for Wishes. That was the tip that found me - via Facebook - and brought me here. I haven't caught up all the way, but I am incredibly impressed with what I see, and the allowance to be who we are, rather than fitting into a perfectly square peg.
