Tip: Full Moon Snow is Purified Water

For those of you who got snow last night, you're in luck.  Snow or rain that falls on a full moon is purified water!

Set out a bowl to collect snow or, if it's already fallen, scoop some fresh snow up.  Once your bowl is full, bring it inside and set it in the center of your circle area.

Let the warmth of your house melt it to water.  This is purified water charged with the healing and protective properties of the full moon.  You can now use this water to cleanse tools and areas.

Of course, this isn't the only way to purify and cleanse.  It's also not the only step in my method of cleansing my space.  More on that later.

What's your favorite form of cleansing for tools and sacred spaces?

  1. We do this and save it in a quart mason jar to use as ritual and blessing water for the year. One tip though, if you're going to keep it in a jar, is to boil it to sterilize. Otherwise, it grows LOL

    1. Goodness, I imagine! I don't think I've ever nabbed full moon snow and kept it around longer than a single night, so it's definitely something to keep in mind. Thank you!
